The Ludlow soup kitchen was born the 25th of July 2025 and was submitted to Shropshire Council at 2:25 pm … what the significance of this is I’m not sure but I’m sure someone will know …
Cooking and preparing healthy nutritious food is an absolute passion of mine ever since my daughter was diagnosed with cancer back in 2007…
And so I embarked on a protocol of H E A L T Y nutritious food for her to feed her body what it needed to help it rebuild itself. She had an amazing recovery and went on to have two beautiful children even though she was told she would never bear fruit.
I started running holistic Retreats for Ladies By The Lake back in 2018 where my friends Julie and Emma supported me with their beautiful offerings of rich and tasty food … The retreats were originally set up to support my Daughters recovery from addiction … i am P R O U D to say how she has transformed her life and is a real inspiration to all around her. She uses her past experiences to now support others in her community … FYI – an addict is always somebody’s Daughter, somebody’s Son, somebody’s Mother, somebody’s Friend, somebody’s Father … they are somebody… Big Thanks to AA & Al-anon Family for support xxx
I have a local allotment garden which I am very passionate about. Lots of homegrown fruit and veg that sees me through the summer season and i purchase surplus produce from fellow allotmenteers which in turn supports the upkeep of the land and the two cats that live there. I also love foraging … I create beautiful vegetable stews and salads, that have no fewer than 35 ingredients, that i produce and feed people their medicine…
